Founded in 1992, University of Plymouth is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Plymouth (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), South West England. The Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and business offer degrees in English, art history, architecture, fine art, photography, media arts, dance, theatre, and music. Plymouth Business School is part of the University of Plymouth's Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and the School offers undergraduate and postgraduate (masters) degrees, is research active, and works in partnership with industry and organizations across the world. The Faculty of Health comprises the former University of Plymouth Faculty of Health and Human Sciences and Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and offers degree programs in social work, and medical sciences. The Science and Engineering Faculty offers degrees in mathematics, computing, environmental sciences, and also professional diving.
